Earthquake Site

Railway Tracks
Hi guys, I manage to get a good night’s sleep. We visited the Si Chuan’s earthquake site this morning, and the journey took us approximately an hour and a half. When we arrived at that place, layers of dust can be ssen covering some buildings and other enormous structures.

How it all began
The guide at the earthquake site explained to us had what happened, and how were the victims saved. It took them weeks to save some of them, while some were not fortunate enough to get saved. It was a tragic event as hundreds of them died during the earthquake. We visited 3 sites where the earthquake took place, one of them was the clock tower.

Clock tower
It is said that the clock had stopped at the time the earthquake took place. The entire site was badly run down and it looks like its in ruins, and plan to use that place as a learning site.

Excuse me boys...

Puppy from the canteen. Cute!

We returned to school for lunch and most of us headed back to our dorms, while others went out to look around. I played table tennis in the evening, and dined in my dorm. Tomorrow would be a 3 hour lecture in the morning before we have our free time. I’ll post again! Bye all.
